GFRP profiles – CFRP profiles – pultruded profiles
5000 different top-quality glass-fibre-reinforced (GFRP) and carbon-fibre-reinforced (CFRP) pultrusion profiles now also available in small volumes.
High-quality GFRP and CFRP profiles open up endless application possibilities across an extremely wide range of areas. Whether for prototype construction, small-series production or certifications, our small-volume deliveries provide a range of options for our customers, from product development right through to series production. And because our profiles are used in both the automotive and aerospace industries, our glass-fibre-reinforced and carbon-fibre-reinforced profiles are produced to the very highest level.
Our partners value our high quality standards, the range of profiles we offer, and the technical opportunities that arise through our production of pultrusion profiles. As a European innovator in the field of pultrusion technology, we have continually refined our production of pultrusion profiles and expanded their areas of use. Our innovation, expertise and precision have made us a premium partner for customers with the most demanding requirements.
Our GFRP and CFRP pultrusion profiles are the perfect choice for electrical applications, wind turbines, medical technology, measurement technology and the sport and leisure industry, as well as many other areas of application.
Our carbon components and CFRP profiles made from carbon fibres bound with epoxy resin are particularly impressive thanks to their exceptional mechanical properties combined with minimal weights. Carbon fibres are the perfect material for components that need to have a particularly lightweight design.
Thanks to their anisotropic fibre structure, CFRP profiles have an outstanding tensile strength and are extremely rigid, so they can be used to develop pultrusion profiles that are highly resistant yet very lightweight. This is particularly crucial in the case of highly dynamic and high-precision applications.
The full benefits of our GFRP and CFRP profiles and components are particularly evident in electrical applications, as well as in the automotive, wind energy and aircraft industries. As a leading manufacturer of pultrusion profiles, we are the first provider to offer our complete range of over 5000 different GFRP and CFRP profiles in small volumes, and we of course apply the same high requirements and quality standards to these small volumes as to our complete product range for major customers and industrial customers.
Producers can now order our practically unlimited range of fibre-reinforced profiles in small volumes.
We offer all profiles listed in our catalogue with a minimum order volume of 100 metres and a minimum order value of EUR 250.00 per profile variant. These small-volume deliveries are particularly useful for production samples and small-series production, and allow us to provide our customers with top quality at certified industry standards even in small quantities.
Our profile catalogue contains details of all our available pultrusion profiles with the option of either GFRP or CFRP fibre structure, as well as the various dimensions and cross-sections – from circular bar diameters through to different angle and tube sizes.
We look forward to receiving your enquiry. If you are unable to find the pultruded profile you’re looking for, send us a message with your specifications and the area of application. Our sales team and technicians will be happy to help find the perfect solution for your needs.
Our high-performance profiles are characterised by the following features:
We produce pultruded, fibre-reinforced plastic profiles under the WACOSIT® brand. These profiles are built for specific applications and have a number of advantages over other profiles. Here are just a few of them:
WACOSIT® profiles deliver excellent mechanical, thermal and electrical performance. They are also resistant to corrosion, moisture and many chemicals. WACOSIT® is also 80% lighter than steel and around 30% lighter than aluminium.
WACOSIT® profiles stand out thanks to their extra-smooth surface finish and the fact they can be manufactured to extremely low tolerances. They are suitable for use at temperatures from -20°C to +240°C. There is usually no need for any post-processing.
The WACOSIT® range offers a wide range of models, so you can find a made-to-measure product to suit your needs. They can also be supplied in custom colours and in weather-resistant or flame-retardant specification, as well as with conductive surfaces.
As WACOSIT® is an excellent insulator, it can provide a crucial advantage in applications where preventing heat loss is a priority, such as in windows and doors, thermal breaks and cladding.
WACOSIT® profiles can be manufactured to any length; the only limiting factor is transport. This gives them a major advantage over profiles made from GFRP sheets.
WACOSIT® profiles are easy to work with. Parts to be glued on can be flitted with a “peel-ply” layer, meaning there’s no need to painstakingly file or grind the surface.
WACOSIT®’s combination of a comprehensive range and full technical support – whatever your application – makes it the perfect choice for your construction projects.
